John Brash & Company Limited is the country's leading supplier of roof battens to the construction industry. Construction projects throughout the UK are supplied from their headquarters in Gainsborough, Lincolnshire. Timber products include:

John Brash has been a timber importer since 1905 and is accredited with BS EN ISO 9002 1987 ensuring quality from tree to roof. Today it is one of the UK's major importers and suppliers of Western Red Cedar Shingles, and the sole importer of Handsplit Cedar Shakes. These natural, sustainable, low-maintenance roofing materials are equally suited to traditional and modern buildings.
In addition, John Brash provides specialist services and timber processes for preservatives, organic and fire-retardant treatments. Some are carried out at their own custom-designed timber treatment plant.
Today this family-owned business is headed by managing director Mr Christian Brash. He is credited with introducing a new marking system for Brash battens, which are cut to size in accordance with the new regulations governing batten species type and measurements.
